From a master's in theoretical physics to a PhD in numerical cosmology, here's the path that got me here.

2025– Today

PhD in numerical cosmology - LAPP, Annecy, France

Building EXCALIBUR (EXact CAlculation of LIght Bending Using Relativity), a tool for generating relativistic light paths in cosmological simulations, assuming a perturbed Friedmann-Lemaitre-Robertson-Walker metric. I'd like to extend it to other spacetimes eventually, like Szekeres'.

March – August 2025

Master Internship– LAPP, Annecy

Studying how photons trace the curvature of spacetime and the mass scattered across the Universe.

September 2024 – June 2025

"Cosmos, Fields, Particles" Master, Université de Montpellier

Focus on cosmology, general relativity, quantum field theory, high energy astrophysics, particle physics and dark matter phenomenology. Graduated first in cohort.

March – August 2024

Master Internship – LAM, Marseille

"Cosmic Bananas": studying weak gravitational flexion in the Horizon-AGN hydrodynamical cosmological simulation.

September 2023 – July 2024

Second year of Fundamental Physics Masters, Aix-Marseille Université

Focus on theoretical cosmology, General Relativity, Quantum Field Theory, astroparticles, primordial cosmology, quantum information and path integral formalism, gauge theories and Standard Model of Particle Physics. Doctoral courses on observational cosmology and field theoretical aspects of General Relativity.

June – July 2023

Master Internship – CPT, Marseille

Studying how light propagates in Lemaitre-Tolman-Bondi spacetimes. My first real project in relativity.

September 2022 – July 2023

First year of Fundamental Physics Masters, Aix-Marseille Université

Focus on theoretical cosmology, Special Relativity, Statistical Physics, Nuclear and Particle Physics, Electromagnetism, Astrophysics, Advanced Mathematical Methods, Statistics and Data Analysis.
